The History of Mobile Phones
In our technologically advanced world, almost everyone has a cell phone. Adults, teenagers and even children carry cell phone models. What is really hard to believe, is that only 15 years, a mobile phone was quite rare.
The history of mobile phones is very interesting and shows how portable asks me that was what it is today.
The history of phone starts by a qualified analytical chemist named Michael Farady. In 1843, he began the exhaustive search to find the place could conduct electricity. He spoke about his findings, and the 19 th century, advances in science and technology have a huge influence on the development of mobile phone today.
In 1865 a dentist with the name of Dr. Mahlon Loomis which was, what is considered the first person was able to communicate wirelessly by the atmosphere. Between data from 1866 and 1873, he was able to transmit address telegram of 18 miles of messages between summits and Cohocton Beorse Deer Mountains in Virginia.
Loomis has developed a form of transmission and reception of messages using atmosphere as a conductor. He launched Kites, surrounded by copper screens, which were connected with the ground copper scales. He received $ 50000 research funds up to Congress, its studies.
Fast-forward until 1973, when Dr. Martin Cooper, is regarded as the inventor of the first handheld device in hand. A former general manager fro Systems Division of Motorola, Mr. Cooper was also the first person to make a call using a mobile phone.
He built a base station in New York with the first working day of a prototype mobile phone, so-called Motorola Dyna-TAC. Both Motorola itself and the technology in New York show that public opinion.
During the year 1977 was public phone and examination began. Chicago has been home for the first tests of 2000 people. Later, studies have emerged in Washington, DC and Baltimore. It spread to Japan the year 1979.
Typical technology changed during the year 1988, when the cellular Technology Industry Association, or CTIA, has been put into practice targets for mobile phone. Included research for the development of new applications.
In 1991 the Telecommunications Industry Association establishes a new standard with the creation of standard TDMA Interim 54
The history of mobile phones has a fairly long journey. Even if there was a strong demand for mobile phones, it took 37 years for commercial access to the USA.
It is difficult to believe that since the mobile phone has become popular only in the last few decades, wireless service was actually invented almost 50 years.
According to the CTIA, there are more than 60 million inhabitants, its own mobile phones. Exactly 25 years before cell activity, $ 3 million market, although it is now an industry worth nearly $ 30 billion per year.
